Backed by global growth equity investor General Atlantic, with over $70 billion in assets under management.
We created Village Pet Care with a mission of transforming the North American pet services space.
Our belief, and commitment, is that by building a pet services company at scale, our resources and expertise will deliver the highest quality pet care for North American pet parents.
We will also seek to provide attractive job and advancement opportunities for the thousands of employees that will work with Village Pet Care.
We do what we say and say what we do. We hold ourselves, and each other, accountable. And we do the right thing, even when no one is looking.
We are in this together, and united in our passion for pets. It takes a village, and we are at our best when we do it together.
Clear is kind. We are direct, proactive, and honest in our communication - even when it’s difficult.
We are leaders and self-starters. We challenge the status quo by innovating, continuously learning, and inspiring others.
We put pets first by treating them as part of our family. Pet safety, health, and enrichment are always our top priorities.
We live life like a happy puppy - we have fun and find joy every day! We love to laugh, and we don’t take ourselves too seriously.

Our investment approach in acquiring North American pet resorts is very straightforward – “buy good companies and provide the resources and expertise to make them great.” Village Pet Care focuses on acquiring “A and B” level pet service facilities throughout North America.
Following the acquisition, our operating approach is to leave the acquired company’s brand name in place and retain current employees. Our experienced Regional Managers and support team will assist with best-practice back-of-house functions like payroll and accounting.
Others in this industry have a broader approach buying both vet hospitals and pet resorts. We choose to have a singular focus specializing only in pet resorts. Our singular focus allows our team to provide a superior experience for sellers.
VPC provides benefits, including health insurance for all employees. We also help build skills with ongoing support and tools. In addition, VPC offers growth opportunities in our corporate team or at other locations, with many of our support team being general managers or owners from acquired businesses.
